Maxsurf Pro - Maxsurf is a NURB surface modelling program with dynamic surface trimming, a full range of fairing tools, curvature displays, 3D rendered views, DXF and IGES import/export, and built-in
upright hydrostatics. Maxsurf Pro also includes parametric transformation to automatically match required hull coefficients and COM Automation to link with macros in Excel and other software.
Maxsurf Plus - Maxsurf Plus is an affordable, limited surface version of Maxsurf, featuring most of Maxsurf Pro’s capabilities with a limit of six surfaces available for use in any one design. The parametric
transformation and Automation functions from Maxsurf Pro are not included.
Maxsurf/T- Maxsurf/T is an affordable, limited surface version of Maxsurf, featuring most of Maxsurf Pro’s capabilities with a limit of three surfaces available for use in any one design. The parametric
transformation and Automation functions from Maxsurf Pro are not included.
Hydromax Pro - Hydromax Pro is a powerful intact and damaged stability analysis program with an extensive range of stability criteria. It includes a built in weight and balance spreadsheet, tank calibrations, damage conditions and a range of hydrostatic analysis such as upright hydrostatics, large angle stability, longitudinal strength, cross curves of stability, limiting KG and floodable length. Hydromax has batch processing capabilities and the Pro version has Automation to link with macros in Excel.
Hydromax/S - Hydromax/S is a simplified version of Hydromax suitable for intact stability. It excludes damage, stability criteria, longitudinal strength, tank calibrations and Automation.
Workshop Pro-Workshop Pro is a construction detailing and part generation system using the Maxsurf surface information for plate development; decks, frames and bulkhead definition; plate stiffening and stringer shape and cutout generation. All part and weight calculations adapt to changes in the hull shape.
The part information can be exported directly to ShipConstructor and also via DXF to other CAD/CAM
systems.
Workshop/S - Workshop/S is a plate only version of Workshop Pro which provides plate development and compound curvature shell expansion.
Seakeeper - Seakeeper is an integrated seakeeping analysis and motion prediction module, using standard Strip Theory to predict vessel motions. Significant motions and other statistical data are calculated at the centre of gravity and at user defined positions on the hull for a range of sea spectra, vessel speeds and vessel headings.
Prefit - For cases where an existing hull shape needs to be input into Maxsurf, Prefit will fit a B-spline surface to a table of offsets and save it in a Maxsurf file format. Prefit also includes an automatic fitting option which runs inside Maxsurf.
ACRule - AC Rule is a measurement and rating program for Americas Cup class yachts.
SPAN- SPAN is a sailing performance prediction program (with an integrated LPP) based on the published IMS sail and hull coefficients. SPAN can measure a Maxsurf hull directly and produce tables of performance data or speed polars.
Hydrolink - Hydrolink provides a means for converting a Maxsurf hull into an offsets file compatible with Hydrolink allow you to export offsets, section and surface data to other hydrostatics and analysis programs. Formats included are BMT Microship, SHCP, IMSA and IMS VPP with Shipflow available to purchase, as below.
Shipflow Export – Exports ShipFlow compatible offsets files from Hydrolink.
Hullspeed - Hullspeed calculates the resistance and powering requirements of Maxsurf designs using a variety of industry standard resistance algorithms including Savitsky, Holtrop, Lahtiharju, van
Oortmerssen, Series 60, Delft and others. Hullspeed also calculates free surface wave patterns and wave resistance of mono hull and multi hull vessels using an analytical slender body method.
Multiframe Marine - Multiframe Marine combines Multiframe 3D with Section Maker to provide 3D frame analysis and sections properties calculation for designers of ship structures. Multiframe Marine is ideal for analysing decks, frames, beams and superstructures. Exports data to Excel for post-processing and reads and writes AutoCAD DXF models.
